On 25th May 2015 the Venice Port Authority organized an international dissemination seminar on the offshore ports as a more feasible answer for the problems that the “ships gigantism” is bringing in the port sector. The seminar was attended by important international experts in port planning and logistic systems. The main topics presented by the Venice Port Authority were those derived by the Napa Studies development of the onshore-offshore port concept.
The TEN-T NAPA STUDIES project was presented at the Transport Logistics fair, the largest logistic fair in Europe, held in Munich every two years. The presentation was held at the NAPA stand, with representatives from the ports of Rijeka, Venice, Koper and Trieste introducing the project activities and updating about the implementation in their own ports. The PowerPoint presentation can be downloaded in the “Documents” section of the TEN-T NAPA STUDIES website – www.napa-studies.eu.
